DAKOTA NIGHT refers to themselves as a "Backyard Country Band" with a blend of old time country, bluegrass and folk with a bit of traditional thrown in for good measure. Check out their new homepage...and watch out for the "dog"! :)



Mike Hillman & His Latin Hillbillies' musical style is country, rhythm´n´blues, hillbilly, rockabilly, swing, from the 40´s to 50´s. You will also find links to each individual in this inersting trio on the band's site.

Modern Cowboyz is the 5 piece Central Illinois Country Band, that has been named Country Dance Band of the Year by the I.C.M.A. for the past 5 years.



Dustin Evans & Good Times: I listened to Dustin's song, "I Couldn't Tell" and I was sold. The Good Times Band is touted for their Rockin' Country, but nothin' melts my heart faster than a good ballad...this one is GREAT!


Strum

This wonderful new duo/group from Australia, Strum, has a wonderful sound that's a combination of folk and country with their debut CD titled “Distant Rain”. The songs are a reflection of their life experiences and vivid imaginations. Songs about droughts, the death of a small town and the loss of faith and love, are balanced by lyrics which evoke imagery of hope, bountiful harvests and new beginnings. "A Woman's Touch" touched my heart.





The Appaloosa is a 4-piece dutch country-rock / r´n´r / r&b band from Dordrecht which belongs to Rotterdam area. The site is still under construction but is looking quite promising.

Lazy Dog

With 2 CDs under their belts, this UK band is making quite a name for themselves.
