Keith Norris

These days it's a lot harder to get excited about some of the "new" country artists I hear. I'm a traditionalist who was raised on country and I can't help but rave when someone new comes along that is real country - the way I remember it before navels became more important than the music and you didn't have to have a gold lined pocket to be heard on the radio. Keith Norris is real country... that down home, feel good, true raw emotion that made country, country.

Keith's debut album, "Along For The Ride" is a quality production in every aspect. It contains ten great songs, five of which were written or co-written by Keith himself. It should be classified as a legal addictive stimulant... better than coffee, fills you with a whole lot more energy and is a whole lot better for ya.

Once he's got your energy at it's peak with the title song, "Along For the Ride", Keith takes you into another phase of two-steppin' with "Burning Your Bridges at Both Ends".  "Cry, Cry Again" gives you a taste of the cajun sound which always makes for a well rounded album. Of course, my favorites being ballads, I was especially partial to "Where Would I be Now", "It Was Love", Get Out of My Dreams" and "Some Get Called for Rain". Whether singing a "make ya wanna stomp" tune, a "make ya wanna love" song or "make you wanna cry" ballad, Keith draws you into his world and doesn't let go... and you won't want to be let go.

Come on "Along For The Ride" but be forewarned, you'll be hard put to stop once you start!  This young Texas man with his good looks, deep, supple voice and easy style, belongs right up there with the best of them and I have no doubt that's where he's headed. I think it's very safe to say that Keith Norris has a very bright future ahead of him.

More About Keith Norris

Keith was born and raised into a music loving family. Both of his parents grew up on farms and Keith learned about hard work as an everyday standard. He held to that standard through school and he always placed music first. He learned to play the clarinet and piano and by the 7th grade then started his own garage band and mastered the guitar, saxophone, drums, and bass. Later that work ethic won him many more accolades such as "Musician of the Year" and "Entertainer of the Year"  by the Texas Opry. He was the Valedictorian of his graduating class as well as being voted "most likely to succeed" by his peers, then continued on to Texas A&M University where he studied Business Analysis.
