If your a Sammy Kershaw fan like I am, two years seems a long time to wait for a new CD. The wait is over and and the fun lovin', Cajun kickin', ballad bustin' country icon is back... just in time for the "IRS Day" (April 15th), Sammy's new CD, "I Want My Money Back" will be released March 25th, 2003! Needless to say, the first song that has been released to radio is the title song, "I Want My Money Back" and is already climbing it's way up the charts.

One of the greatest things about Sammy Kershaw is that he remains consistently country and true to his roots. His music, like his values come from the from deep within his soul. This heart-throb tenor can make you feel as though he were singing right to your broken heart with his ballads or get your feet to tappin' even when you think your tap is plum worn out. The only thing better than seeing Sammy in concert is to have his albums to listen to in between shows and he's worked very hard to make sure his fans stay satisfied. Since his first release in 1991, "Don't Go Near the Water", Sammy Kershaw has released a total of 12 albums, many which have reached Platinum! He has been one of the few artists whose been able to hold strong in country charts (even through the "bubblegum" phase that has haunted country radio for the past few years) without ever compromising his Cajun country style.

"I Want My Money Back" proves that "real" country music is still the best and that Sammy is still one of the best to deliver it. His diversified mix of 11 new songs range from kickin' Cajun to Honky Tonk and ballads that would melt the heart of a grinch. "I Want My Money Back" delivers all of the above in the way that only Sammy Kershaw can provide it, with his ever distinctive vocal style.

Sammy Kershaw is a true county "Star" who is and idol to his fans, a gift of love to children in need and the perfect "gentle"man in every respect. These are just part of the virtues that make the man that creates a sound that springs from him as easily as the sun rises on a summer morn.
