MARK CHESNUTT APPEARS IN KODAK MOMENT (11-12-04)
Mark Chesnutt teamed with Knoxville Radio Station WIVK and the Karoke Cafe to raise money
for the Kodak Montessory Academy in Kodak, Tennessee. Immediately following his CMA Week
activities, Mark headed to Kodak to perform in an intimate acoustic show on Wednesday
evening, November 17, for a 200 plus capacity crowd raising more than $5,000 dollars for
the Kodak Montessory Academy. The school was in need of a new sprinkler system for their
building. Without a new installation, the school was in danger of being shut down. All
proceeds from the acoustic show (ticket sales and VIP sponsorships) were donated to the
academy. In appreciation, the school presented Mark with a handpainted sign from the
children and will dedicate an area of the school in his name.
