I first learned of Allison Moorer
when I saw Robert Redford's movie, "The Horse Whisperer". Mr. Redford had heard
Miss Moorer's music and created a special scene in his movie so that Allison could appear,
singing what became her first hit, "A Sof t Place to Fall". Thanks to Robert
Redford, we have had a lot of great music from Allison and now there's a brand new album,
"Miss Fortune", loaded with 13 songs and every one of them hit worthy. I've
always been a Redford fan because and now I understand why.. it wasn't just that he is
handsome and talented, he has the class to recognize and promote other talented artists
like Allison... in doing so, he gave us another country treasure. |
