"Giver
Her Some Happiness"This song was mostly written
by my brother Guy
and it is a love song of someone starved for love
in a relationship that isn't working and a new friend
who will Give Her Some Happiness if he won't.
Cho: Give Her Some Happiness
Or let her go
Don't keep her waiting
I love her so
Give her a future
Or release her to me
Give Her Some Happiness
Or set her free
You let her get lonely
Or we'd never met
Left wanting too long
A heart will forget
What she can't find with you
She's found here with me
So Give Her Some Happiness
Or set her free
I just don't understand
What you had in mind
To with-hold your love
And drive her to mine
If you find you need her
The way she needs me
Then Give Her Some Happiness
Or set her free

"Christmas
In Heaven"This song was recorded on the same
session
as "Opry Show Playing Somewhere" and was
written by my friend Howard Pine. When I heard
it I knew I had to record it and I'm glad I did it has
been a favorite for over 40 years.
I dreamed I spent Christmas In Heaven
Up above in that city of gold
Was the birthday of Jesus our Savior
What a beautiful sight to behold
All the angels had gathered to meet him
The saints and desibels were there
I dreamed I spent Christmas In Heaven
Don't you wish that you might have been there
I dreamed I spent Christmas In Heaven
There were no Christmas trees to be seen
For His love has shown down through the ages
And His promise remains evergreen
There were no Christmas gifts to be opened
For the gift of his love is still free
I dreamed I spent Christmas In Heaven
Just a promise of what is to be
