"An Old Song"
Sometimes I hear a song I haven't heard for many years and it will
take me right back to the moment I first heard it, and if it meant
a lot to a relationship it really makes an impact, thus: Ain't it Funny What An Old Song
Can Do
Intro: Ain't it funny what an old song can do
I was taken by surprise
And teardrops filled my eyes
I heard the song, that meant so much,
To me and you
As the radio played
Time just rolled back and stayed
Ain't it funny what an old song can do
Cho: Ain't it funny, what an old song can do
How it creates its own memory
It takes you back to where you've been
And lets you live that time again
Ain't it funny what an old song can do
That look was on your face
Our first dance, our first embrace
We were sure, that song was sung,
For me and you
I just fell apart inside
It felt so good that I cried
Ain't it funny what an old song can do
Cho: Ain't it funny, what an old song can do
How it creates its own memory
You'll be back in days gone by
And you'll laugh dance or cry
Ain't it funny what an old song can do
Tag: I just fell apart inside
It felt so good that I cried
Ain't it funny what an old song can do

"Shirley's Sugar Shack" This
song is one I've had in my files for forty years. I had demo'd it many years ago with me
an a guitar and my Buddy Leo Hagen (Shirley's Sugar Shack) had a copy of it and He liked
the song and thought I should record it, and I'm glad I did.
Cho: When Someone Gets Hurt
By someone they love
The Rejection is crushing,
There's tears and there's pain
When Someone Gets Hurt
By someone they love
The question is how,
Can they trust love again
Tag: Somehow I must learn
To trust love again
For better or worse,
Till death do us part
Millions have vowed,
Millions have broken hearts
I don't want this to happen,
But I'm wanting to cry
There's a big empty space
Where once stood You and I
Steps have been taken
And it hurts me to know
Sooner or later
I must let you go
With all We had between us
How could everything die
Now I stand alone
Where once stood You and I
