Narvel Felts Wife, Loretta,
Mourns Another Loss

Just 5 months after her sister was carjacked and murdered, Loretta's brother loses his battle with cancer. Billy Joe Stanfield, 66, of Dexter, Missouri formerly of Steele, Missouri died September 10th, 2003. Billy Joe was a policeman for 23 years. He was Chief of police in Steele 19 of those years.

At Billy Joe's request, Narvel sang 2 songs and did the eulogy at his funeral. He was dressed in his police chief uniform and was honored by the Steele Police Department attending in uniform. He was buried in Steele September 13th, one day before the 8th anniversary of Narvel and Loretta's son's death.
