Newsletter from Fan Club
Hello,
Just a short note to say hello and also wish you all a Happy Easter.
We just returned from Branson, the show is as great as ever and we sure hope one day soon
you can see the newest and youngest star, Tallie Nicole Tinoco. She is now actually
walking on stage at night after the very last song and stands with the cast to bow
goodbye. She should have that privilege since she has been part of the show (where dad
sings to her) for a year now, so it was about time she got to walk out and take a bow. She
is practicing her soon to be part on the show, "Good Ship Lollipop" To cute. She
is taking dance lessons ... And seems to love all of it.
Here she is practicing her curtsey ..
New Branson Tour
Rick has a tour coming up in June so anyone wanting to come
along, let let him know. Going to be a little different this year as to one day will be
leaving for Arkansas on a Chuck Wagon ordeal.
Plus a fan club party and lunch ...
Spread the word. Call 913-780-4012.
In the works are fans working on getting Joe on the Old Settlers Fair in September. Hope
it can materialize. So many have requested his appearance there (His Home Town) Old
Settlers draws over millions of people and it would sure be nice to get him there. He did
two major appearances there as a teen in which time he was opening acts for Skip Ewing and
Travis Tritt. His home town also gave him the spot as his going off to Branson concert
right after graduation.
Okay .. Keep in touch. We are looking forward to staying with the Obbinks at their time
share in Branson April 31st and getting Talya for a week and see some of the new shows
while there.

CRACKER BARREL OLD COUNTRY STORE, INC. CREATES MUSIC PARTNERSHIP WITH GRAMMY & ACM
NOMINEE JOSH TURNER
CRACKER BARREL OLD COUNTRY STORE, INC.
CREATES MUSIC PARTNERSHIP WITH
GRAMMY & ACM NOMINEE JOSH TURNER
Partnership includes tour sponsorship & exclusive CD to be recorded live at historic
Ryman Auditorium
LEBANON, TENN. (April 5, 2007) --- Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc.
(Cracker Barrel) is honored to announce an official partnership with one of
country musics fastest rising stars, Grammy and Academy of Country Music nominee
Josh Turner. This partnership includes a tour sponsorship and exclusive CD to be recorded
live during Josh Turners April 19th concert at Nashvilles historic Ryman
Auditorium, known worldwide as The Mother Church of Country Music. The April
19th concert, Turners first full-length show at the Ryman, will kick off Cracker
Barrels sponsorship of his summer concert tour.
Im excited to be taking Cracker Barrel on the road with me this year,
said Josh Turner. The band and I never get tired of seeing a Cracker Barrel sign off
the side of the interstate. When youre on the road, its nice to know that you
can pull into any Cracker Barrel and feel like youre in your mamas kitchen,
waiting on your favorite meal. I am pretty sure my band and I have all the Cracker Barrel
exits memorized between here and South Carolina.
Embraced by fans and critics alike, Turners signature baritone voice has earned him
comparisons to legends George Jones and Johnny Cash. Cracker Barrel secured a partnership
with Turner because of the artists great fit with Cracker Barrel and country music.
Prior to the tour sponsorship and CD deal, Turner was the voice of Cracker
Barrels Christmas holiday advertising campaign. The commercials aired on radio
stations throughout the United States.
Josh Turner seems right at home at Cracker Barrel, said Simon Turner, Chief
Marketing Officer at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. Our guests enjoy country
music and Josh has a voice and style that connect generations of country music fans. We
believe this live CD will be an excellent addition to our exclusive line of music.
Josh Turners performance at the historic Ryman Auditorium will be the first concert
in his Cracker Barrel-sponsored tour. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Presents Josh
Turner will continue April 20th in Wabash, Indiana. Other concert stops include
Louisville, Kentucky; Nashville, Tennessee; Richland Center, Wisconsin; Montgomery,
Alabama & Columbia, South Carolina.
During the Ryman show, Josh will sing his hits as well as personal favorites that have not
appeared on any of his previous releases. The resulting CD will be a collection of songs
performed at the Ryman. Scheduled for release later this summer, the CD will be available
exclusively at all Cracker Barrel Old Country Store? locations and online at
crackerbarrel.com.
I am looking forward to working with Cracker Barrel on my first live album that will
be recorded at the historic Ryman Auditorium, said Turner. This is definitely
going to be one of the most memorable nights of my career. Its gonna be fun.
Turners sophomore release on MCA Nashville, YOUR MAN, debuted at #1 on the Billboard
Top Country Albums Chart and was recently certified double platinum. Songs from this
latest release have earned three ACM Award nominations. His #1 smash Would You Go
With Me is nominated for both Song Of The Year as well as Single
Record Of The Year. While his current single, a collaboration with Dr. Ralph Stanley
and members of Diamond Rio, Me And God, is nominated for ACM Vocal Event
Of The Year. The two-time Grammy nominee was also the #2 best-selling country male
artist of 2006.
With this partnership, Cracker Barrel continues to build its impressive collection of
exclusive CDs. The most recent release, Songs Of The Year, features new recordings by
todays top country performers including Trace Adkins, Trisha Yearwood, Dierks
Bentley & George Jones. Cracker Barrel has also released exclusive CDs by Alison
Krauss & Union Station, Charlie Daniels, Amy Grant and Sara Evans.

Joe Nichols A SONG JOE NICHOLS COULDN'T PASS UP
April 4, 2007 Joe Nichols wasn't looking for another ballad when his latest hit,
"I'll Wait For You," came his way. In fact, Joe tells icebergradio.com that he
was purposely trying to put out more light-hearted material like "Tequila Makes Her
Clothes Fall Off" and "Size Matters" to avoid being labeled country music's
ballad boy.
"I thought that I was getting into a world of music
that really wasn't reflective of my daily routine, my life," he says. "It's not
all as miracle-y as some of the music I was doing," he says. "Some of my life is
just really comical, and I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't portraying somebody that
was different than what I was living at home."
But Joe said he felt like he had no choice but to record "I'll Wait For You."
"This song came along, and I couldn't help it. I knew I would regret giving it up,
and so rather than knowing I would regret it, I cut it. I said, 'You never know,' so it
became a single."
Joe is currently working on his next album, which is tentatively scheduled for release
later this year.

Martina McBride Waking
Up Laughing is now available. You can order your copy for just $9.99 ($8.99 off the list price) by following the link
below.
Amazon.com Review
Martina McBride has long been a champion of music as social consciousness, particularly
for abused women ("Independence Day") and children. On Waking Up Laughing, her
ninth album and the follow-up to Timeless, her platinum-selling album of country classics,
she advances the theme while expanding it. While two songs explore the issue of unwed
mothers (particularly the exquisite "Love Land," which closes the album), and
another, "Beautiful Again," touches on child sexual abuse, her overall
repertoire embraces the wholeness of family, and of standing strong together in the face
of adversity and defeat. Musically, McBride has always proved to be an elegant thorn--her
song selection is often inspired (and here, she co-wrote three tunes, including the
skyscraping single "Anyway"), but she has tended to use her huge, ride-the-wave
soprano full-tilt, without employing the subtle shadings that would make her even more
emotionally resonant. On Waking Up Laughing she seems to have worked on the problem, yet
in her second foray as solo producer, she still tends to gild the lily
instrumentally--inflating string bridges between choruses, for example, or loading the
opening country-pop track, "If I Had Your Name," with a Southern-rock guitar
break, a listen-to-me fiddle showcase, a Celtic guitar intro, and a close that brings to
mind George Harrison's sitar in play-it-backward mode. That said, she makes fine use of
what sounds like a black female choir on the uplifting "For These Times," and
wisely keeps the haunting break-up ballad "Tryin' to Find a Reason" (with Keith
Urban's harmony vocals and guitar solo) lean and affecting. As McBride works to refine her
pastiche of creativity, commerciality, and social awareness, she slyly takes more chances
than one might think, all the while rallying old fans and making new ones. --Alanna Nash

Alan Jackson, George Strait & Jimmy Buffett
Amazon.com
Recorded live at Dallas's Texas Stadium in 2004, this long-delayed release is worth the
wait. Over 15 tracks, the three superstars sing together, separately, and in pairs for
what turns out to be both a musical treat and a long draw of fun. Strait, who normally
stands stock still in concert, loosens up and--surprise!--talks between songs
("That's country right there now"), and if my ears heard right, may actually say
the word "ass." His is the strongest section musically, as he uses the
western-swing classic "Milk Cow Blues" to stretch out with a fine showcase of
his Ace in the Hole Band, and brings Jackson out for a masterful version of their hit
"Murder on Music Row." But Jackson's set offers a personality-rich rendition of
"Where I Come From," as well as a bluegrass version of Steve Young's "Seven
Bridges Road" and a sturdy cover of "Texas Women," Hank Williams Jr.'s
exercise in Lone Star braggadocio. Buffett gets a little too cute on
"Margaritaville," on which over-the-top chorines shout, "Salt! Salt!
Salt!" But when Jackson and Strait join him for a rousing romp through "Hey,
Good Lookin'," you can almost see the ghost of Hank Sr. dancing in the aisles.

Jack Blanchard & Misty MorganHave you seen our videos on YouTube?
OUR ANNUAL EASTER SONG.
"IF EGGS HAD LEGS."
If eggs had legs
And long hair to their knees
They'd run through the flowers
Shinny up trees.
Then they tiptoe through the city.
Better lock all the locks.
They'll drink up our wine
And take our dirty socks.
If Eggs Had Legs
They'd steal our football shoes
You can see 'em kickin' chickens
On the six o'clock news
Well they don't give a (quack!).
They got nothin' to lose.
They're on the way to Tennessee,
That's why I got the blues.
If Eggs Had Legs
And long hair to their knees,
You could hear 'em bite their toenails
Up in the trees.
Drinkin' our wine,
Gettin' stoned as an ox,
Staggerin' around
In our dirty socks.
Little hairy legs
In socks and football shoes
You can see 'em kickin' chickens
On the six o'clock news
Well they don't give a (quack!)
They got nothin' to lose
They're on the way to Tennessee
That's why I got the blues.
