Job Description

Work with program producers to generate music selects and oversee audio finishing for Current Programming in support of the network’s creative strategy. Must have extensive knowledge of all genres of music, esp. emerging artists/bands and interest in pop culture, social politics and what’s going on with 18-34 year olds. Must be familiar with major Music/ Sound Effects Libraries. Should be current on all music clearance issues - Be able to coordinate music clearance with producers, network, and record companies. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and can think/act quickly in a fast-paced production environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Identify music tracks for Current Programming
* Maintain music cue sheets
* Maintain relationships between music programming and other departments
