Sept. 27, 2005
I'm sorry I'm so far behind on getting the news out to y'all. I've
had sever problems with a server I was hosting 3 of my clients on and have been trying to
free up those sites from their grimey clutches and get them moved to a good and honest web
hosting company. Of course, that means a grea deal of research to find one that would best
benefit my clients' needs. Between the search and dealing with an unsavory bunch of
cut-throats, I'm runnin' on my last nerve. I'm fairly sure I will be working with Globat
Web Hosting Service. They've got some good folks working there and one of the things I
really appreciate about them is their willingness to help.. and they give their phone
extensions and direct email addresses so you're not talking to a different person all the
time. You get to know the folks you're working with as they know you and I like that. At
the current server, even the CEO emailed me through one of the techs email addresses... I
mean.. come on...!! How lame is that??
I'm just sending out two special
announcements tonight. One as a special favor to a company that really does so
much for the artists and since it's very time sensitive, I wanted to get it out tonight so
it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. The other I just received as I was preparing this.
It's a benefit for the hurricane victims, I wanted to get it out asap as well. They are in
dire need of artists who are willing to donate their talents so please read it. If you
can't go, maybe you can offer your help in other ways. Show the world that "Country
