Hi All, I know I've been awol for awhile... my PC took a nose-dive and had to go to the shop for repairs. Seems the extra hot weather this summer is creating more problems than discomfort. It's caused power surges in many states and we're just lucky enough here in the sticks to have really old lines.. add them up and what do ya get? A big mess with your PC! Seems the power surges, which never out and out killed the PC as it was surge protected, caused problems on my hard drive from the constant on/off of our power supply. That in turn, damaged many sectors to my hard drive. Long story short, they had to reformat the entire thing.. you know what that entails afterward, I'm sure.. installing everythiing from scratch. I was fortunate enough that I was able to save most of my files to a disc before it totally punked out on me but for some reason, ya just never seem to get them all. With all that said, it explains why I haven't been online and there hasn't been any news sent. At this point in time, there's over 90 emails in my News folder waiting to be sent out so bear with me. I'll try to get all that taken care of as soon as possible. In the meantime, I've been rechecking all my files for websites and of course, which one got messed up in transfer? MKOC! It's got the most folders and files so it didn't quite transfer with ease, hence mixing up the entire structure. I am currently working on downloading some of my files from the server to make sure I have the most up-to-date ones.. then I have to fix the navigation of the site. OK.. 'nuff of my cryin' and bellyachin'.. you get the picture, I'm sure. LOL While I can't send out all the news I'd like to right now, I couldn't miss sending this time sensitive message out to y'all cuz it's such a great deal!
