Tamra Holden Tinoco is not just the woman behind the man, she is the woman beside
him. With a gleaming smile and a true talent in her own right, Tamra was Joe's inspiration
in the creation of his song, "Angel", as well as being the "angel" he
sings to in the video.

Tamra grew up singing gospel in the church and
her talents and credits have grown right along with her. She studied music at Missouri
Southern State College in Joplin in 1989 and 1990. She has a degree in music and teaching
and graduated from the Conservatory Of Music UMKC. Among her many talents, Tamra plays
several different musical instruments such as piano, guitar, and flute. She performed at
the Jim Stafford Show in Branson during the 1994 and 1995 seasons. She was a featured
soloist and appeared on TNN's Music City Tonight with Stafford. |
Tamra and Joe met on stage in Branson where she was vocal back up
singer for Cristy Lane and Joe was the opening act at the Cristy Lane theater. They were
married on Veteran's Day, November of 1995 and sang their own wedding song, "Just You
And I". They eventually moved to Nashville where they were featured singers and
dancers in the "I Hear America Singing" production at the Music Theater at
Opryland. Tamra performed on stage until she became a full time dance
instructor for the
well known Nashville National Dance Studio where she taught Latin dance while winning many
Midwest dance competitions with her husband, Joe.

Tamra and Joe were chosen by The Entertainment and Production
Group of Opryland to appear on the Grand Ole Opry with Porter Wagoner on July 9, 1996.
They performed as a duo singing, "Better Move It On Home", a Dolly Parton/Porter
Wagoner hit from the '70's. They also performed "It's Only Make Believe", a
Conway Twitty hit |
Tamra is a family oriented girl and
very close to her parents. Her father, who is also a great musician and a master
trombonist, is a band director for Springfield high school who performs and directs in many
different places. She and Joe toured the Midwest last year with her father setting up
shows for many elementary schools. They loved every minute together "touring".
She has dedicated her travel time and talent to perform at charitable events and for
campaign events in the Midwest, some being in Missouri and Kansas. Both Tamra and her
husband spend any available time they may have to visit and write to friends or fans that
may be sick or hospitalized, they are both very humble, caring young adults. |
