(Formerly known as Lee Bogan & the Rockits)

Joe Diffie says, "Lee Bogan is one of the
most talented individuals I've ever had the pleasure of being associated with. I love him
to death and you will love this album". Anything I can add after such tribute
is a moot point as you'll soon learn when you hear "Big Trouble", the debut
album of Lee Bogan and the Rockits.
Lee is no stranger to the stage and touring. He
spent four years on the road with Billy Joe Royal before joining Joe Diffie's band as a
singer and guitarist. He remained with Diffie for eight years during which time, he
cowrote many songs with Diffie. One of those songs was "Honky Tonk Attitude"
which went to #1. The song and the album went Platinum!
In 1998, Lee decided to head out on his own and
teamed up with the great Ronnie McDowell in songwriting. From there, he formed his own
band, the Rockits. The rest, as they say, is history. Now it's time to see what the future
holds for this talented singer/songwriter, Lee Bogan along with his fabulous Rockits.
I predict the only "Big Trouble" Lee
Bogan and the Rockits will encounter will be hand cramps from signing
autographs. "Big Trouble" was well thought out from the point of the songs
written for it to the arrangements and sound quality. From rockin' country to honky tonk
to touching ballads, "Big Trouble" has it all.. and it's all top rate. There's
also a song on the album which Lee cowrote with Ronnie McDowell called, "Love Made Me
Do It".
I thoroughly enjoy Lee Bogan and the Rockits
and I'm very happy to have their album in my collection. Bottom line, "Big
Trouble" has Big Hit written all over it!
