I met and heard Joyce for the first time when she
traveled all the way from CA to Charleston, W.Va. to perform at a Child Alert Foundation
benefit. Not only did she donate her performance, she donated a great deal of her
merchandise and own pocket money to help the folks of W.Va. acquire a soaring count in
proceeds. She autographed pictures, mingled with the crowd and made so many friends,
she eventually made Charleston her home!
From that show, Joyce went to Nashville for an awards
show, then on to Europe to appear at another benefit concert while touring about, making
friends and fans along the way. Joyce has become quite popular on the European radio
charts.
Her most recent credits in the year 2000 are
"Winner Of":
* 2000 Golden Music Award For Best Songwriter , Usa And Europe
* Best Songwriter 2000 Golden Music Awards for USA and European airplay
* Nominated by the 2000 Golden Music Awards for Rising Star of the Year
* New Female Vocalist of the Year, and Best Country Single, "She'll Get By"
Joyce's child-soft voice and neuvo style of Americana
Country mixed with all the previously mentioned styles, is certainly a sound unlike most
you'll hear. Joyce is also a gifted songwriter and composer who wrote or co-wrote all the
songs on her CD, "Pack Up My Dreams and Go Home".
