Jesse is part Lakota Indian, was born in California
and raised in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee. Jesse began writing and performing
his own music at the age of 15 and signed his first country song with Simply Grand
Music/BMI in 1986. He currently resides in Nashville where he is a staff writer with
Cavet-Vanderpool Publishing/BMI.
Jesse wrote or co-wrote all twelve songs on his CD
entitled, "Love Won't Let Me Let You Go". I am very impressed with his
skill for songwriting and composition which comes from the depth of his heart and one must
think, experience. The ballads are believable and and the up-tempo songs are just plain
fun, toe-tappin' music. If you haven't lived these songs yourself, you undoubtedly
know someone who has and from Jesse's delivery, one must think that he's lived through a
few of them himself.
Jesse is proud to have been one of the artists to
participate in the Benefit for Bosnia Concert recently held at Club La Fiesta in
Nashville. He also performed for the Child
Alert Foundation at the CAF Benefit concert in Brevard, NC, Oct. 30, 1999 as well as
the Nashville CAF Benefit on Dec. 4, 1999.
You can see Jesse Wilson perform live in Nashville
regularly!!
Catch him at the Broken Spoke, Douglass Corner, the
Red Door Lounge, La Fiesta, Robbie's, American
Legion, Pauls, or the Hall of Fame Lounge.
