Yesterday (12 yrs. old)
|

Today (20 yrs. old) (year 2005) |
Jaime Beaver is a
growing young artist and I mean that in every sense. Jaime recorded her first album,
"Shade of Blue" one year ago at the age of 12. While "Shade of
Blue" demonstrates her vast talent in singing, it doesn't prepare you for the growth
that has transpired in one short year. |
Jaime has matured in looks as well as
vocal style and capabilities. Her presence and performance are that of a seasoned young
lady who knows what she wants as well as how to please a crowd.
Jaime's first performace was in October of 1997 and has
since gone on to win the "Female Youth Award" at the 1999 Golden Awards Show and
was nominated for the "Rising Female Star and Album Award".
That's quite an acheivement for one so young to accomplish in such a short span of time. |

|
Jaime also enjoys charity work. She will often go sing
to folks in nursing homes just to see the smiles on their faces. She created a great deal
of smiles during her 2 day performance at the June, 1999 Child Alert Foundation Benefit
which is when I was witness to the "new and improved" Jaime Beaver; No longer a
12 year old girl with potential but a young lady with a promising future ahead of her.
Jaime's album, "Shade of Blue" is a mixture
of today's "Young Country" ("Cool Country" and yesterday's Good ol'
Traditional Country music ("Saving You Just For Me"). There's something here for
everyone; young or old, new or traditional.
I have no doubt you'll be hearing more about Jaime
Beaver. She's got her feet planted firmly on the ground while headed for the stars!
