Along with her personal and vocal talents, Jennifer is
also an accomplished songwriter and has written and/or cowritten every song on her soon to
be released, 12 song CD, "Dream Road". My #1 pick of all these great songs
has to be "Je T' Amie", a sweet loving ballad that suits Jennifer well. Of
course, she's comfortable with any style of music or song from the most traditional
country to R&B, Pop/Rock, you name it, she can sing it. I still have to revert to her
talent and strength with the ballads, like, "All Anew" and "Mean Old
Heart" both of which Jennifer wrote herself.
Jennifer began singing in a young performers group
called, Class Act Kids" when she was only eight years old. By the age of fourteen,
she was writing her own songs and winning one competition after another and continues to
win competitions around the U.S.
One of Jennifer's greatest thrills in her musical
career came when she not only got to meet Charlie Daniels, but became friends with him and
worked his booth at Fan Fair. She was invited to spend time with Charlie and his wife and
visit their studio where she worked on songwriting with some of Charlie's writers!
To put the icing on the cake, Jennifer was invited to
sing on two different shows at the Casino Magic in Bossier City, LA. Once in 1997 and
again in 1998.
Jennifer moved from LA to Nashville in '98 and has been
paying her dues and making herself known. Aside from her regular gig at Jesse's Nashville
Nights, in the famed Printer's Alley, she's appeared at Tootsie's and the Bluebird Cafe.
All I can add to this is if you get a chance to go to
Nashville, or you live in or near there, allow yourself the pleasure of Jennifer's fine
performance. You won't be disappointed!
