Jeff Callery & Runaway Train are one of the hottest country
music acts in Ontario. With a new CD release and some great radio airplay, Jeff's music
has reached an audience of more than 500,000 listeners.
Jeff began playing and singing at clubs and festivals
during high school (1989). He toured Ontario with Leaving Kentucky; a band he formed in
1993. During his 3 years as lead singer and front-man for the highly popular group, Jeff
had the opportunity to perform with some of Canada's premiere country artists at festivals
headlines by the likes of Joe Diffie and Shenandoah. Jeff performed as the opening act for
Tracy Lawrence at his only Canadian date in 1995. He then headlined a hometown festival in
1995 to an audience in excess of 12,000 people. Jeff began a recording project in the
spring of 1996 with Canada's premiere country producer Randall Prescott (Prescott-Brown)
and one of Canada's premiere songwriters, Barry Brown. Singles are currently playing on
radio station CFMK Country 96, Kingston,
Ontario, Canada to approximately 250,000 listeners with good response.

Jeff has a twin brother, Jason, and a younger sister, Jean-Ann. He graduated College in
Marketing with honors, and is employed full time at Brocktel, a division of Northern
Electric.
