Seventeen year old Beth Singer lives up to the title of
her first album, "Live While You Can". From a near death experience due to
illness at a young age to very recently losing her vocal studio, poetry and music in a
fire that burned the family store to the ground, adversity has molded Beth's determination
to succeed. Add her fiery talent and energy to that determination and you've got star
material....and Beth is just that.
Beth has the ability to please all music lovers from
the traditional to "new country" fans with her trained vocal styling. The only
fault I can find with this CD is that there aren't more wonderful ballads like "I
Keep Finding Myself With You" but then again, we all know I'm partial to ballads and
this admittedly makes me somewhat prejudice in that area.
"Live While You Can" has a little bit of
everything and you can't help but feel the energy that went into it's making. I haven't
had the pleasure of seeing Beth perform on stage yet I can't help but believe that her
performance must be every bit as dynamic and entertaining as her album.
You can just "feel" it in her music.
