From Beufort, North Carolina, comes a new shining star, Angela Baker, with her newly released single, The Hurt In My Heart. Angela was discovered by the late, great "Wally Fowler", and is the last artist he produced and managed during his career having helped foster the careers of some of the country and gospel greats including: Chet Atkins, Eddy Arnold, Hank Williams, Sr., Roy Drusky, The Jordanaires, Patsy Cline, The Oak Ridge Boys and many more. Angela met Mr. Fowler in 1989 at a talent contest at Mount Olive College; a contest that she won.. He took her under his wing after hearing her perform at a concert in Oxford. He stated, "I was attracted to her voice. The quality of her voice is like Patsy Cline's." He was, in fact, so taken with Angela he provided her with several of the songs he wrote, one being, "The Hurt In My Heart", among many others. Angela thrives on people and touches the hearts and souls of all who meet her, as well as all who hear her. "Music should create a special feeling for people," says Angela. "It should carry them away into a special mode where all of their aural senses are stimulated." Angela's music does just that and once you've been touched by a voice that can carry you away, you're a captive to the spell she weaves around your senses. Angela is back in the studio working on her next release which will be out soon, along with a video. Her current release, "The Hurt In My Heart" is receiving airplay around the country and the video is being shown on TV. You can see the video on Angela's homepage so make sure to visit there to get all the inside scoop as well as see the video and much more. The
