The Employee Picnic 2003 will feature entertainment by country music artist Debbie Miles, winner and four-time nominee for the country music female vocalist of the year award, and recipient the recording of the year award for Illinois. Debbie Miles’ album What are We Waiting For includes the popular singles, “Whiskey talk is cheap” and “You ain’t been worth a dime,” both of which will be performed at the picnic.

Debbie’s home is in Galesburg, but she has performed around the country.

Several of her performances bring special memories. “In Winchester, Virginia, I had the opportunity to be the featured entertainer on the Patsy Cline show that they produce each year in memory of Patsy Cline. That was great,” Debbie said.

In Louisville, Kentucky, Debbie was a guest with Willie Nelson on the syndicated “Mid-night Cowboy Truck Show” hosted by radio personality Bill Mack.

Debbie has been performing since she was a little girl. “I started my professional singing career about eleven years ago,” Debbie said. “I’m thrilled to be performing at the employee picnic this year - I’ve wanted to sing there for a long time.”
